Wide and extensive career in the construction and property industry with considerable experience in different sectors especially health, retail and housing; dealing with all types of buildings and services. He has developed, as an academic and practitioner, considerable knowledge and expertise in project management, facilities and strategic built asset management. He pioneered the development of practical computer based asset management and building appraisal systems (Lifespan) for which the practice is well known today.

Trevor Mole is Founder and Managing Director of Property Tectonics which he started in 1987. His current role is managing the pt business employs over 30 people. His professional activities now mainly involve advising companies on asset management and strategic issues and acting as expert in dealing with complex building problems and defects. His interests include working to encourage European collaboration and mutual recognition of qualifications. He continues his interest in education and research and believes passionately in furthering collaboration between industry and academe in teaching, enterprise and research.

Trevor is a past President of the RICS Building Surveyors Division and past President and Secretary General of the Association of European Building Surveyors and Construction Experts (AEEBC); he is a Visiting Professor in the School of the Built Environment, at the University of Salford. He was awarded the Danish Constructing Architects Prize for his services to European Construction Professionals in 2008 and received the University of Salford’s Alumni Achievement Award in 2012.
