UK AEE

Stand: G26

Company Profile

The UKAEE is the UK Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), as well as a limited company in the UK. The AEE provides the internationally recognised and prestigious qualifications in energy management such as Certified Energy Manager and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA).

Our ethos is to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development.

We see ourselves as peers with organisations such as the EMA - with the same end aims and goals but different nuances. Visitors to the stand will be able to meet members of the UKAEE committee and learn more about the events, training and other networking opportunities available to assist energy managers or those in a related role to keep abreast of key developments in the sector.

UKAEE hosts a series of practical energy management related seminars and related events covering areas of relevance to energy managers. Recent highlights include CPD events on Transport Energy Audits - a key and often overlooked area of the Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) and a Heat Metering event helping energy managers and related professionals to negotiate their way through the complex area of the impending Heat Metering regulations. Delegates were able to benefit from a key session at the event from the National Measurement and Regulations Office enforcing the scheme.

UKAEE will be able to update visitors on future events and initiatives planned as well as future liaison work with the EMA. Discounts will be available on future events if signed up for during EMEX for the next CEA / ISO 50001 being planned in April 2016.
